TIES: How to register and become part of the team!

Registration for TIES is an easy, three step process:

STEP 1. Check out the TIES projects.

All students interested in being a part of a TIES team should check out the projects currently being offered. Descriptions of the projects can be found here (insert link). Consider which ones best fit your interests and course of study. You can choose to apply for new or continuing projects. During the application process you will be asked to rank order your project preferences.

STEP 2. Apply to the TIES program using MyTIES.

• This provides the information that TIES needs in order to select team members based on preferences and project needs. After you submit your online application, you will be send an email confirming that we have received your information.


• After your application has been reviewed, you will receive another email advising you of your status. If accepted, this email will include the information you need to register for the TIES courses.
