TIES: How to register and become part of the team!
Registration for TIES is an easy, three step process:
STEP 1. Register for the TIES program using myTIES.
- This provides the information that TIES needs in order to select team members based on preferences and project needs. After you register on-line with TIES, you will be sent an email confirming that we have received your information.
- Once team assignments have been made, you will be notified to pick-up additional course information at ESS (Engineering Student Services).
- Questions about ENG100 or ENG100L course descriptions? Click Here.
STEP 2. Sign up in WebReg for ENG100 Principles of Team Engineering.
All students interested in joining a TIES team to work on a project should have taken this course prior to signing up, or should plan on concurrently taking this course in the quarter that you plan to start your TIES project.
- Become familiar with the TIES projects to determine which one best fits your interest and course of study. You can choose to sign-up for new or continuing projects. For a description of the current teams and their projects, Click Here.
- If the scheduling information is available, determine how ENG100L Team Engineering Lab time fits into your schedule. Each team is scheduled for a weekly two-hour lab plus an additional lecture on Fridays. For a schedule of next quarter, Click Here .
STEP 3. Use WebReg to add yourself to the appropriate section of ENG 100L Team Engineering Laboratory.
- Unassigned students will be offered participation in new projects as they become available.
