Student grades for ENG 100L will be based on the formula below. The grade is an average of Personal Work (P) and the overall Team Productivity (T). For the team product component, the Individual Contribution (C) to that product is assessed from three sources.
Grade = P + (T * C) / 2
where:
P (Personal Work) is the sum of:
Weekly reports: 50%
Reflections: 20%
Design notebook: 30%
T (Team Productivity) is the sum of:
Quarter and spend plan: 20%
Project presentations: 30%
Final written report: 30%
Final poster presentation: 20%
and:
C (Individual Contribution) to team productivity is the sum of:
Peer evaluations: 30%
Community client evaluation: 20%
Faculty evaluation: 50%
